Introduction to Concrete formwork ( 5 weeks)
Overview:
Participants will learn the most important aspects of concrete formwork including identifying materials, form hardware, and formwork safety practices. Through theory and practical applications, students will gain experience in fabricating various formwork applications including:
. Form hardware
. Concrete interior and exterior stair
. Wall forms, pilaster and column forms
. Foundation footing forms
. Gang forms
. Concrete columns with drop panel
. Flatwork combing suspended slab and concrete beams
