CAFETERIA
The cafeteria is equipped with:
- Microwave oven
- Kettles
- Keurig coffee machine
- Refrigerator
- Vending machines
CLASSROOMS AND LABS
Students shall check the bulletin board in their respective shop to determine the schedule of classroom and lab space. At no time are students permitted to work in the shop without the presence of an instructor or approved supervisor.
INTERNET ACCESS
The Carpenter Millwright College strives to create a learning environment that encourages accessing and using the best available information for educational and administrative purposes. We are pleased to provide Wi-Fi access for our students. Wi-Fi login information can be found in the Student Manual.
LOCKERS
On the day of registration, students are encouraged to find a vacant locker for storage of books and personal items. Students are responsible for providing their own locks. If a vacant locker is not available, students are encouraged to share lockers with peers. The Carpenter Millwright College does not guarantee a locker for each student and is not responsible for any items lost, stolen, or left behind after graduation. To maintain the safety of all staff and students, the Carpenter Millwright College reserves the right to search the contents of any locker, at any time.
PARKING
The Carpenter Millwright College has a designated area for student parking. However, there may not be sufficient parking for each student and no student may claim parking space by right. The College will not be held responsible for any damages that occur to vehicles while on the property of the College. There are two spaces in front of both buildings that are reserved and designated as “Blue Zone”. Students must have an authorized parking permit to park in this area. In addition, there are two parking spaces marked “20-minute parking” in front of the main building which is designated for the use of Carpenter and Millwright union members and visitors. Students are not permitted to park in these designated spaces. A speed limit of 10 km/hr is enforced in the parking lots to ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors to the College and Union offices.
TRANSPORTATION
Metrobus provides services to Paradise. Schedules may be found at the front desk at the Reception area of Carpenter Millwright College or visit metrobus.com – Route 30.
