This comprehensive confined space program will give participants the knowledge required to identify, enter and work in a confined space safely.
Upon completion, participants will be able to identify confined spaces as well as the hazards associated with such. This is a WorkplaceNL approved course. Identify the importance of CSE training, identify the legislative roles and responsibilities of workpace parties, CSE legislation, identify roles and responsibilities of employers who develop CSE programs, identifiy roles and responsibilities of person who are working in CSE, the safety and health hazards of CSE, the recognitiion, evlatuation, and control of confined space hazards through the application of hazard assessments, hazardous atmospheres and testing procedures, control methods for hazards atmospheres, and/or safety and health hazards, CSE work permit system, selection, use, case, storage and maintenance of PPE and respiratory protection, the general requirements of a CSE rescue plan, and accident/incident reporting; and the basics of A/I investigations.
